Detecting developmental and behavioral concerns early, and connecting families to appropriate services as soon as possible, can dramatically affect the trajectory of a child’s life. California’s rates of developmental screening are some of the lowest in the country, and the services landscape can be very complex to navigate. We work to increase access to developmental supports and improve the system of delivering services.

Conditions created by the pandemic, such as isolation, economic stress, and community trauma, are all proven to negatively impact a child’s ability to thrive.
